Here’s a quick update on drugs dealing crime in your area, please be reassured that we’re taking this seriously and are here to help. Safer Neighbourhood Teams Continue to Tackle Drug Crime in Ealing
Officers from Ealing's Safer Neighbourhood Teams have achieved two significant results this week as part of ongoing efforts to tackle drug dealing and keep local communities safe.
Drug Dealer Arrested in West Ealing
On 3 September 2026, officers from the Hanwell Broadway & Walpole Safer Neighbourhood Team stopped a suspected drug dealer outside St John's Church, Mattock Lane, W13.
During the stop, officers initially recovered a quantity of cannabis and a large amount of cash. A more thorough search subsequently located 25 wraps of suspected Class A drugs, resulting in the male being arrested on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Class A Drugs. More than £500 in cash was also seized.
The suspect has since been bailed whilst further enquiries, including forensic examination, CCTV review, phone analysis and expert evidence, are completed.
Special recognition goes to PC Sanjay Puri, PC Beth Storey and MSC Nathan Dinham, whose proactive policing and teamwork were instrumental in the arrest and seizure.
Significant Drug Seizure Following Intelligence-Led Patrols
Earlier in the week, on 1 September 2026, officers from the Ealing Broadway Safer Neighbourhood Team acted on intelligence regarding suspected drug dealing in the vicinity of Hyde House, W13.
Whilst conducting proactive patrols, officers stopped and searched a male at a location known to be associated with drug activity. The search resulted in the recovery of approximately 50 wraps of Class A drugs, together with over £200 in cash, leading to his arrest for Possession with Intent to Supply Heroin and Crack Cocaine.
Further enquiries established that the suspect was also in breach of an existing Community Protection Notice (CPN).
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, the suspect was charged and remanded in custody for:
• Possession with Intent to Supply Heroin
• Possession with Intent to Supply Crack Cocaine
• Failing to Comply with a Community Protection Notice
The arrest was made by PC Marc Lowles and PC Welsh, who acted swiftly on local intelligence to disrupt drug dealing activity within the community.
